Steffen Baumann – Sixty Sessions – 02-10-2011

 Steffen Baumann's biography reads differently: His first touch with electronic music was a power-drive, ok. But before his childlike enthusiasm for the album "Man Machine" at the end of the 70 was a classical musical education, first at the drums and then guitar. When he began 10 years later to launch themselves at first was his favorite hip-hop genre, then, almost logically and consistently to the first House panels on head - because he influenced them greatly. Finally, the Mannheim landed in purely electronic music, which continues to this day, but did not prevent him, as a teenager playing for years in parallel with hard rock and metal bands. Musical roots lie Steffens Thus, while the Detroit sound, but with him there is no scene-dictated tunnel vision. As a strict categorization of the enemy, he usually plays, after which it is the sense, and its only parameters are his own taste and a fine sense of the mood of the people in the club.
