Born on 13th march 1984 in Romania, in a small city Bacau, Zotist began his career very early, being passionate by electronic music since the age 15 when he got in contact with the majority of the DJs from his hometown, and in this way in the winter of 1999 he became one of the residents at the biggest club in Bacau, at that time XXL Club. Because of the club's requirements of "cocktail" music, in 2001 he becomes the resident of an open-air big club, also in Bacau, opened only during summer, named Marinarul Club, were he experimented all electronic genres.
Noticed at a party by the owner of Zebra Club in Bacau, a new club that in time has made a big name in Romania, Zotist is invited to become resident along Raresh, that happend with the autumn's coming. He played with the majority of the best Romanian DJs and also with well-known international DJs such as: Margaret Dygas, Oliver McGregor, James Zabiela, John Graham aka Quivver, Dusan.
